From childhood to death your whole life is about competition only.
In childhood
"How many marks you got ?"
"90", replied firmly
"Your friend Ramesh got 95" reply came with an unhappy voice.
In Adult age
"What is your salary package ?" asked by her.
"4 LPA" replied.
"Oh! My beta is in America in a business firm, he earns 10 lakh monthly." She replied.
In middle and old age
You are doing the same that your parents did to you.
Is the experience of life is in numbers only?
Our numbers make you successful?

You are so busy in gathering numbers that you forgot that life is not numbers. Life is what beating inside here. It is not dependent on anything. These achievements are all bi-products of life but not life itself. You have become so entangled to gather the bi-products that you have considered it as life. One more car, one big house, one extra digit salary, some more marks can make your life a little comfortable but it will never give you the fulfillment of living a full-fledged life.
Today, your idea of success is all about numbers. Isn't it? How greater you are from everyone, you derived your joy from that. If the next moment someone stronger beats you, you become jealous, angry, miserable.
It is just because you have lost touch with life. As long as competition is there suffering is inevitable. As long as you think "I am superior to him" just because you remember some more pages of a book, you'll suffer.
In the evolution of the human race, we have given so much priority to our intellect that we completely ignored other dimensions and power of our intelligence.
Competence is important when it comes to performing some tasks optimally. But you should know when to switch it off when it is not needed. If you are deriving pleasure your whole life just to see yourself in some numbers then suffering is inevitable for you. You may feel you have everything but still, you will feel somewhere inside it is nothing.
Did you ever notice one person who doesn't have that many materialistic gatherings? Just if he comes and speaks with you, or just his presence only makes you overwhelmed and begins to think what a superhuman being he is !!.. It is nothing super. He is just a human being like you but his life is richer than you in terms of experience. What I want to say is being human is Super!! It is just because you have lost touch with the core and busy with your psychological drama, you are not able to see it.
Until or unless you don't look at every individual out there placing yourself in their place, no matter whatever is the situation, you will never start growing your perception.
As I always say" How deeply you touch another life is how rich your life is. "
